We are a team of dedicated and hard working developers that love to code. We create awesome enterprise, web, and mobile applications. Yet, we realize that building software is complicated, and that’s why we offer a simple, yet proven process: Listen, plan and execute.
“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
-George Bernard Shaw
It’s hard to offer solutions if we don’t intimately understand your problems. So we take the time to truly listen to what your organization needs. Our experience comes into play and helps us recognize common challenges, but we also know that every situation is different. Listening is key to success. That listening doesn’t end in this step of the process either. We keep listening throughout the entire project to make sure we’re delivering what you need.
Our agile approach to software development keeps things moving, delivering value and staying on schedule. We’re technology agnostic, and find the best solution for each problem. We define project scope and timeline, wireframes, user stories, milestones and deliverables to ensure everything is clear and the project can be a success.
We love programming! It’s what we do. Our passion to learn and work with cutting-edge technology allows us to deliver flexible, scalable and secure software. We never want our customers to feel in the dark about a project’s status. So when each development sprint is finished, we show the customer the work in progress. This ensures that we’re meeting your expectations at every step along the way.
WHO & WHAT
The Florida Endowment Foundation for Florida’s Graduates (FEF) exists to assist parents and educators in creating socially-adept, academically-capable, self-disciplined, and goal-oriented young people who are prepared to capitalize fully on their future opportunities. FEF creates, develops, measures, and maintains programs committed to serving sections of the youth market throughout Florida. Their current active programs include VOICE, SUPERB, Jobs for Florida’s Graduates, and Girls Get It.
FEF’s SUPERB program acts to prevent and resolve bullying in schools. FEF’s primary business objectives for the project were to deploy a solution to manage capturing data and reporting, a website to be a public facing source of information for students, parents, and teachers, and a mobile application that would act as a tool to help students in need of bullying.
Girls Get I.T.
FEF’s Girls Get I.T. program encourages talented girls to focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in school, college and as a career. FEF’s primary business objectives for the project were to deploy a mobile application to allow girls to post their problems in the STEM areas and collaborate to creatively solve these problems.
Candoris worked with FEF to deploy a Salesforce-based solution to handle capturing cases from the mobile application and website and to act as an administrative portal to handle chatting with students. The solution also integrated with Nexmo, a platform to handle SMS messaging, to allow the administrative staff to be notified by text message when a case is submitted or a new user joined a chat session. Candoris implemented a website using WordPress, http://resolvebullying.org, that provides a great deal of information to help students, parents, and teachers prevent bullying before it happens and handle bullying situations as necessary. A mobile application, Resolve Bullying, was implemented using the Ionic Framework, AngularJS, and PubNub and is available on the Google Play Store and Itunes Store. The mobile application provides tools to submit help requests to the Salesforce platform, and chat with trained professionals about being bullied.
Girls Get I.T.
Candoris worked with FEF to deploy a mobile application, for both iOS and Android, built with the Ionic Framework and AngularJS. The application allows girls to register for an account and to post problems they are facing in the STEM areas. Girls are able to create problems including photos and video links describing their issues. Other girls can login and post solutions, comment on problems, and “Get” problems. Candoris also implemented a WordPress backend to manage users, problems, and solutions, and created a system to automatically calculate solutions each month that had the most girls “Get It.”
