Who & What
Wolf Furniture was facing a dilemma of aging hardware and upcoming warranty expiration, encouraging them to look at revamping their IT environment. As they had worked with Dell EMC in the past, they reached out to them directly for guidance. After receiving quotes for replacement hardware, they decided that they were interested in leveraging a local resource to perform the services needed to stand up a new environment.
A Dell EMC system consultant introduced Steven Shyda from Candoris to Paul Edwards, Wolf Furniture IT Director. Within a few days, they met onsite to discuss the company’s IT- related goals and to complete a comprehensive scope of needed services. Meanwhile, Dell EMC and Candoris worked together in the background to ensure smooth communication and to allow the customer a single point of contact for the project.
Candoris engineering and sales teams worked closely with the customer to draft and redraft proposals and statements of work. They also made some enhancements to the solution, such as adding in an additional piece of hardware to offer a complete turn-key solution. Candoris teamed up with Dell Financial Services to ensure that the leasing terms would meet the customer’s budget, and Paul happily signed off on his acceptance of the proposed solution.
The customer was appreciative and trustful of the relationship that they had developed with Candoris. Pairing outstanding Dell EMC hardware solutions with dedicated Candoris personnel who provided tailored, forward-thinking solutions resulted in an emphatically-positive review from Paul: “(It was) great working with Jonathan Spinney, Steven Shyda and the rest of the Candoris crew on our Dell FX2 and VMware upgrade/migration…100% flawless.”
