Who & What
Soon after a New Jersey public school district hired a new technology coordinator to their staff, they recognized a need for IT infrastructure assistance. The district’s newly-appointed technology coordinator was familiar with Candoris from a previously-held position. He had experienced quality work from the team and was impressed by both the sales and engineering processes.
The district immediately requested Candoris’ involvement with their need. We initially completed an upgrade to their closet switches and core network, followed by a data and compute project where they entrusted us with refreshing their server and storage hardware. When the time came that they needed assistance with a large wireless networking project, they invited us to submit a viable solution to the problem.
Not to disappoint, the Candoris sales and engineering team pitched their proposal to the entire school board as they competed with other vendors. They followed this up with several onsite visits and extensive diagramming of the solution components. Finally, they aligned an account representative from the proposed solution company to fly in to meet with the customer and provide extensive product knowledge. The Candoris sales team then worked hard to provide competitive pricing in order to make it a viable opportunity for the district.
Candoris’ solution addressed the school district’s wireless networking needs by leveraging Aerohive via Dell EMC and deploying access points across multiple district buildings. This customer is an influential K-8 district that feeds large area high schools, and Candoris is thankful for the trust placed in us to serve them. Thankful for the initial projects going so well, we look forward to working with this new customer in the future.
